Clinical Education

We continue to serve our community as a training site for nurses and provide field placement opportunities for social work students from UNC Charlotte, UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Greensboro, Queens University, Mercy School of Nursing, Winthrop University, Winston-Salem State University, and the University of South Carolina. Our clinical staff mentors and coaches the students in their field placement experiences. Medical residents from Carolinas HealthCare Systems also benefit from half-day patient visits with our home care nursing staff.

Below are core educational opportunities provided free of charge by Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region.  All of these presentations have been approved for CEUs for CNAs by the N.C. Division of Facility Services. These presentations also provide social work and nurse contact hours.
